Support the Novartis Technical Operations (TechOps) – Lifecycle Implementation team in leading and managing implementation product lifecycle projects such launch, transfer, change, divestment and pruning etc. in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Regulatory requirements while creating value for the stakeholders across Novartis divisions
across geographies.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of implementation experts who manage product lifecycle projects / brands as per the relevant SOPs, business matrix and SLA timelines.
- Support the team to deliver and maintain a detailed Change Over Plan (COP) for LC projects regarding implementation dates, according to the overall strategic project/ program plan.
- Empowers teams to be accountable for the up-to-date assortment at SKU level of the assigned brands.
- Coach the team to plan and execute changeover activities with all involved functions and proactively addresses/resolves or escalates potential issues through the Project Lead or project team
- Delivers and maintains a detailed Change Over Plan (COP) for LC projects regarding implementation dates, according to the overall strategic project/ program plan.
- Works with a broad variety of stakeholders: Actively seek alignment with the experts from different functions (e.g. Supply Support Team (SST) members, CPO DRA, CPO demand planning, site tactical/ operational schedulers, Master Data Governance, Demand.
- Management Centre, other Supply Chain functions) and is in close collaboration with Project Lead / Life Cycle Manager.
- Is responsible for the up-to-date assortment at SKU level of the assigned brands. Responsible for block management
- Plans and executes changeover activities with all involved functions and proactively addresses/resolves or escalates potential issues through the Project Lead or project team
- Proactively report all deviations through timely escalations. Be Subject Matter Expert in the assigned area of work. Be SPOC for assigned area of work
- Lead data collection and reporting of KPIs. Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives. Coach and train team members
- Support for conducting comprehensive training sessions as a subject matter expert, ensuring that all participants gain a thorough understanding of the material presented, and are able to apply the knowledge and skills effectively in their respective roles
Essential Requirement:
- Minimum 10 years in the field of supply chain management is preferred.
- User experience of Change Control and ERP system (e.g. SAP) and MBA as well as experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain management concepts and processes
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Experience in planning and executing project activities, ensuring alignment with timelines, objectives, and stakeholder requirements.
- Ability to work within GxP-compliant environments, ensuring that all project activities adhere to relevant quality and compliance standards.
Desirable Requirement:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Engineering / Commerce / Economics
- PMP Certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
